Are Pheromones Perfume Real?
A very valid question when it comes to the claims of the major perfume manufacturers. Perfumes that attract – pheromones perfume; is a term that was used widely back a century back when the word pheromones was first used to describe any chemical compound that has the ability to alter the course of action of an organism drastically without even the organism becoming aware of it. These chemical compounds were found to regulate mating seasons in mice and other animals as well as controlled certain actions in insects and pests. However, all research since then has failed to find similar chemicals for humans.
If these so called pheromones perfume are seen from the point of view of their mode of action then it stands to reason that they are effective in what they are supposed to do – attract the opposite sex. However, these are not really pheromones laced concoctions because they do not alter the action of a human, they just bring out existing feelings in them.
